^^Holes is a novel/film that involves a young man getting falsely accused of stealing a famous basketball players shoes, and ends up getting sent to a juvenile detention camp. At said camp, other kids of the same age are forced to dig holes to "build character".

I checked some of her other Terezi things and they all had teal symbols so that doesn't really explain the green one here

Though I know there are quite a few images out there that give Terezi very green symbols or even Kanaya jade green. IMO it's pretty weird.

Yeah sorry bout that I'm just incredibly picky with this pairing so it pleases me when something hits my good spacetime spot.

Pretty good interpretation.

To be quite honest, I find body language to be much more powerful then spoken (written word) in terms of fanart. This picture is a prime example

Dave's blushing but also smiling giving off the appearance of intense pleasure and happiness at being with her but also an air of calm and serenity, allowing himself to lower his guard, his cool kid facade to fall away. She's melting him, but instead of freaking out or trying to "be the man", he's simply accepting her affection in a way he probably would otherwise find "really uncool". It's not a huge dopey smile, it's not him being embarassed to accept affection from his girl, it's just more of a "yeah, this is nice. It's nice to not have to play a part."

Some may call that out of character, I call it Dave Strider; actual human being with feelings and a heart.

Also Jade taking the lead is incredibly in character so she's perfect in this too.

tldr this is a really nice image. I like it a lot.

I prefer those with in-character dialogue and interaction, myself.
