I just had a thought on how this scene would work in an animated medium. As Doc Scratch yammers, have a little window appear, like a picture-in-picture. The action in this window is mute (so that the narration can be heard), but subtitles appear along the top of the screen (so as not to mess with any subtitles along the bottom).

Whoever drew this for got the Thousand-Yard-Stares and psychotic grins.

Seriously, the Tricksters are creepy as hell, whereas this makes them look downright cute.

It's no less weird then Roxy sobbing over Dirk not wanting to bang her when they apparently had been having that discussion for years and had almost certainly come to an understanding.

This whole situation is pretty much made for fan overreaction so none of it is surprising.

If anything Jake would be happy since that means that Dirk can join in on the marriage.

I keep seeing these "power of love + betrayal > trickster mode" things where Jake cries a single tear over Dirk kissing Roxy.

Wasn't Jake the one who wanted to break it off? Why would he cry to see Dirk move on?
