Yeah his chatlogs and manner of speaking ring a lot more like Rose's actually. It's not a perfect fit but it's a lot more... there I guess then people think. I actually want Dirk and Rose to talk a lot more then Dirk and Dave personally >_>

I believe many people called him a "genderbent Rose" as soon as AR and later himself started to appear in the chatlogs.

Also I personally agree with Chocoboo's assessment of Portalship. I know it's easy to just fall into the Prospit Girl / Derse Boy mold, but it does kinda feel like genderbent grimdorks in a sense. I always thought like Dirk's personality was actually a lot closer to Rose's then people seem to notice? And Nanna is a legendary trickster, John learned from the best so if we're comparing it to anything, I think that'd be the closest.
