Heh. I wasn't even thinking that, but it wouldn't surprise me now.

From yesterday's update, "dead sessions" happen whenever the kernelsprite turns into a black hole. I assumed this happened in Caliborn's case because it was serving two players at once and so prototyped itself. So naturally, since Hussie implied that all Cherubs have the duality Calliope/Caliborn share, this should happen when any Cherub tries to initiate SBurb.

However, the dead session is part of Caliborn's punishment, so that can't possibly mean that any Cherub session is doomed to fail, right?

No, dead sessions happen when a single player tries to play Sburb, which is against the rules. The black hole happened because he entered as a single player, not because of the whole Cherub duality thing. The game is punishing Caliborn for killing off his coplayer before they entered.

Like Caliborn once was, Jack is chained to a wall. I wouldn't be suprised if he went and rescue the archagent.

And then he'll bite Noir's leg off.

oh man, yeah, whatever about enduring erisol fans (i'm an erisol fan i'm a fan of most ships bite me that isn't what's even relevant about this update)

you know what's relevant about this update? the fact that eridan and sollux are probably going to talk and actually have somewhat of a role in the story, that's pretty relevant and exciting. considering eridan has been dead for friggin ever I am pretty hyped right now even if it is the most basic of discourse, if he even like a few lines it will make me insanely happy.

all this caliborn, and now we're possibly going to hear from sollux and eridan, one long dead character and one sort of dead character? good updates. good updates.

how can people be so relaxed about this update.

and I'm not sure, I guess it could be erisolsprite following tavrisprite's naming pattern.

Though it is rather weird to see the erisolsprite staying together despite how much Eridan and Sollux clashed themselves. Is this due to not having had the chance to explode, or their personalities not being as different as thought? ...Or something else? Interesting.

Not really. It's like how Tavrisprite allowed Vriska and Tavros to know exactly how the other feels deep down, since they shared a body.

Eridan and Sollux didn't have serious issues like Vriska and Tavros did. Eridan and Sollux's confrontations were due to each reacting to the other's outside fronts. Vriska and Tavros were conflicting due to radically different personalities, not because of fronts put up.

tldr Eridan and Sollux sort of understand why the other acted the way he did, and yeah, they aren't so different that unlike tavrisprite, they apparently didn't explode when created.

They might still not be too happy to be well... one person now, but I'm just so fucking happy this is happening.
