Did you ask if we could upload their art her for permission and that we could source their art?

Honestly, I'm not that big of a fan of deleting art that was already uploaded here, especially in the case of artist deleting their blogs period(which happens frequently) causing the arts to be gone forever. God knows how many RainbowSqueezes' arts(for example) we've lost.
