Dem_Hips is for when the characters are drawn with prominent hips. Similar in function to dat_rump I guess.

dat_rump is a tag? Why isn't it dat_ass?

I think it got changed because dat_rump is more thematic with mspa stuff.

Okay, what is with the child_abuse tag? I came across that one as I was tagging old pictures in this board.

You know how we have started tagging cosplayers as cosplayer:person? While been tagging, lately I've been leaning towards tagging them as artists. Alot of them make their own costumes and props which makes me consider them artists. Also there are a few artists who also cosplay so adding both an artist tag plus cosplayer:blank is kind of silly.

Personally I'd tag the identified cosplayers in a picture as an artist+the photographer. If the cosplayer happens to also be an artist people can use the real_life/cosplay tag to filter to what the want to find.

Thoughts?

Iunno, the piece of artwork is technically the photography, making the photographer the true artist, with the cosplayer tags being there to give credit to the model. But I'm not vehemently opposed to it, we're already gonna have ten million artist tags anyways.

Also I had no idea we had a child abuse tag... HS is always abusing kids I'm not sure what it would even be.

For blacklisting purposes. It's kind of a common trigger…

Yeah I understand that. I'm assuming it's for young people suffering at the hands of adults, like guardian stuff. Because as I said, children get abused quite often in general when it comes to HS.

Also a few other tags that were added

monochrome for black and white pictures

profile for pictures of people in profile

merfolk which I made on account of it being pretty popular, enough to not simply be lumped under mythology stuck anymore anyways

word_balloon for pictures with text bubbles

kiss tag since we have hug and might as well

dream_ghost for the white eyed dead peeps (this needs to be fixed up greatly though bluh)

Yes, that is what "child abuse" means, no?

So would every Dave+Bro strife picture be tagged with the "child_abuse" tag seeing it's basically a guardian fighting his 13-year old bro/son with swords? What about any age_discrpancy picture featuring kids?

Also I've just noticed a new tag, "style:limited_palette" on four pictures so far. Why the style: prefix? Monochrome doesn't have it so wouldn't just "limited_palette" be satisfactory enough?

I like the tag, but yeah the prefix is un-needed.

And with the age_discrepancy being it's own trigger tag I see no reason why we would have to double down on triggers.

But yeah the ca tag is kinda ambiguous at points in HS...

I started that one before the "monochrome" tag was around, for those pictures where an artists starts with a predefined palette of some 4-6 colors. Doing away with the prefix is OK especially since non-standard prefixes don't actually work as turns out…

Another note: why is the "sprite" tag now full of the standard 4 ones (Dave, Jade, Nanna, Jaspers)? Seems useless to cram them there, it only makes finding non-standard sprites harder.

Why does both the "underwater" and "ocean" tags exist? I thought that we've decided to just use "ocean" as the catch-all tag for any seaside picture weather it is beach, above the ocean, under the sea, etc.
