Well again, I'm all about careful naming. Tricky here, though.
* Like Porrim's new outfit, what is that? Is there a name for that style, is it supposed to resemble something in particular, I dunno.
* May want to just cop out and use one blanket tag for the modded Thief gear. Or skip it.
* Seems Kurloz is supposed to be Hamlet. "Royal_Wrath_Regalia"?
* I think Aranea's was a winter coat; she wouldn't be the first in the story to wear one with a skirt.
* "cat_sweater" feels like it's missing something.
* The colored spots on Kankri's PJs are supposed to be grubs, one post said. "wiggler_jammies", perfect.
* And as for Damara's little red-and-white number... Shit, there actually is a term for that, but my memory sucks.

The Mane 6 from MLP:FiM have tags now FWIW, seeing how we have amazing amounts of crossover fanart with them. Not sure if anyone else from the series deserves a tag… Also, "ponified" might be useful?

Yeah I think that'd be a good tag. There are enough of those pictures to warrant it.

Oh yeah, last night I created a cannibalism tag.

Okay, just noticed the big tag list has "Mom's_Rifle" and "Laser_Gun". They're the same bloody gun. And will people really use separate "broken" tags for every sword Dave touches?

Aliased crossoverstucks are still lingering in the tag list, but now we can't isolate them, so we're stuck with extra aliases. Maybe we should've just handled those the hard way.

And speaking of being stuck, there's still those little tags like "wtfstuck" that all pretty much feel like sub-tags of ohgodwhat, and should probably at least be skimmed over to apply proper blacklist tags. (Not by me though. Childishly ham-fisted shockmongering, constant visual clusterfuckery, and overall lack of aesthetic cohesion make me queasy. Gotta let dinner settle first.)

The current system periodically readjusts aliases into the proper tag automatically, so once they're down to 0 pics they can be deleted from the tag list.

Pie, is tagging Mario and Zelda stuff also as "nintendo" really necessary? Sounds about as useful as tagging frogs + crows + salamanders + crocodiles + kids + etc. as "tetrapods". :b

Sailor fuku. It's a sailor fuku.

There are a lot of pictures of characters wearing sailor fukus, so if you want to make that tag, you have a lot of work to do.

I'm willing to look through the horrorstucks for triggers and general tagging. I'd be more than happy to, considering that one of them, TickTockStuck, was made by and is still being run by me.

On that note, I'll also be changing any "wtfstuck" tags to "whatthefuckstuck" since WTFStuck is someone's fanadventure on tumblr unrelated to the horrorstuck phenomenon.

Sorry I wasn't here much on this board for the past few days. Somewhat busy. Anyway, I have a general question, what is the "sprite" tag used for? I mean, I've seen it being used for kernelsprites and Game-Sprites such as Davesprite and Tavrisprite on the previous booru, however I'm seeing it used on the character sprite-mode of the cast. Someone clear up this tag usage, please.

Agreed. I don't get this, as "Pokemon", "Mother", "Mario", "Zelda", "Animal_Crossing", and any other Nintendo crossover we come across is already sufficent enough if you use the franchise name. You don't really need the company behind it. I mean if are we going to tag any Mass Effect crossovers as "EA" in addition to just plain "Mass_Effect" or "Activision" "Naughty_Dog" for any Crash Bandicoot crosses instead of relying on "Crash_Bandicoot"?

The former is the correct usage, "sprite_mode" is what to use for the latter.

(Also "image_manipulation" and "pixel" are probably unnecessary for sprites that just use the general MSPA bases?)

Iunno I kinda feel that having a larger group and then subgroups isn't a bad thing. I feel the same way about the Disney tag.

Nintendo has multiple subgroups in it yeah, but a fan of one is probably a fan of the rest and wouldn't mind browsing through the mix of them all, enjoying Mario crossovers, Zelda crossovers, ect.

EA games just aren't as plentiful, same with Naughty Dog games, it's not really comparable. Like at all

Same with all the various Disney movies. It functions a lot differently when it's crossovers then it does with a random tag like crocodiles and iguanas (which by the way do have a similar group tag in "consorts" so your comparison confuses me).

That was the logic behind it anyways, it's not something I care enough about to get into a long talk about if others want to take it off.

Sprite is for instances of all actual sprite characters including Dave, Aradia, Jade, Tavris, Jaspers, Nanna, Bec, Cal, fanmade sprites, crossoversprites, ect.

Sprite mode is for in game sprites as seen in the comic. Any overlap of the two is from the old board and should get cleared up unless there is an in game sprite of a sprite then it gets both tags.

Thing about the Nintendo tag is that it would be a mega-load of work since not only it would span the multiple-Pokemon cross-pictures but the Zelda, Mother, Mario, AC, etc. And I feel it would be more productive have people spend their time adding class name tags(heir, witch, etc) to the godtier images, clothing tags, and artist tags instead.

So there should be a sprite_mode tag for the latter?

Well I'm tagging pictures in order completely, not choosing some tags over others so /shrugs

http://mspabooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=54053

That would get both for being an incomic sprite of a sprite character.

http://mspabooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=64955

this would get the sprite tag only for being fanart of a sprite character

http://mspabooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=65399

This would get a sprite_mode tag only for being in the style of an in comic character sprite (it doesn't have to be canon, just in the style)

Does drug_use extends to cigars and cigarettes or is it mostly refers to weed or other hallucinate drugs?

And are we still using these types of tags; siblings:daverose and siblings:jadejohn or is siblings just enough?

Also, why do we have a persona_4 tag instead of a general persona tag? Wouldn't the later make more sense since it spans the series as a whole? Not to mention some of the images are refs to the series in general. I mean I got the okay to change the "earthbound" tag to "mother" so...

I think it's intended as a blacklist tag so probably the latter then?

Just "siblings" seems sufficient, but if someone wants to update this with more details (TDLB said something to that effect at least) I don't really mind. Just as long as we don't suddendly have competing "johnjade" vs. "jadejohn" etc. tags.

As for the Nintendo issue, I agree that Mario fans probably would enjoy easily finding crossovers like Zelda, but I don't think "Nintendo" is a good perimeter here - maybe "videogames"?
