Oh, I didn't even consciously register that there were self-self ship names on the chart! Haha, some of them are really good (Dos Equius!) but as of now we don't seem to be tagging self-self ships more rigorously than "selfcest". There aren't really enough such images on the board (100 as of now, which drops by more than half when you take out the prime candidates Dave and Karkat) to justify getting any more scientific about them.

^ I agree with Beelzebibble here, I don't think we need to worry about selfcest shipping tags.

Is "almond_fluff" really the only Scratch ship though? That's pretty weird considering they never interacted in comic. I mean it's just weird that we don't have e.g. a Scratch/Rose ship name. The best I can come up with is "cueball_on_a_string"

And yeah, despite the fact that Doc Scratch/Tavros is a rarepair it does have an established name generally used, I guess kind of like Heir_Force_One does, which Doc/Rose needs.

"Ball_on_a_string" is sort of a reference to cats too, which we find Rose (and Roxy) associated with. So, I like it. I know you said "cueball_on_a_string" but would that might be heavy handed.

Hmm, "ball_on_a_string"... I guess it starts to sound a lot like a Nepeta ship -- the cat association is indeed pretty strong!

Plus the original billiards term is lost, so between those two reasons, I can't say I'm in favor of shortening it... That really just means there must be a better ship name out there somewhere. Back to the drawing board I guess.
