OK here's two hugenormous projects that seem like they might be worth it but I don't think I'm going to embark on them all by myself.

1) Fanart "series". Lots and lots of artists have done pic series such as all the godtier beta kids, all the alternian trolls, etc. Would be handy to have these in one place. I think this would get huge though.

2) Act-specific pools. Say someone's only read up to Act 4 but they want to still see fanart? We could link them to the Act 4 pool. Could include both "period" fanart, and later works. (On Skaianet someone could have simply started from the beginning but that doesn't work anymore.)

In particular I think a pool with Act 1 / early Act 2 stuff would be a good idea, for "no spoilers at all" fanart.

Uh, I've got two new pools... a small one (15 minutes late with starbucks) and a big one (non-blonde strilondes)...

Could probably use some help with both of them.

Tropylium, I'm down with the act-specific pools. If you start them, I'll definitely help contribute. "Early act 2" sounds like a nebulous divide, though -- any particular problem with having an Acts 1 & 2 pool, an Act 3 pool, and an Act 4 pool?

I've been meaning to say, about the ot>2 pool: that seems like the kind of thing you'd want to have as a tag, so it's searchable.

Some things from Act 2 (imps, stuff happening with WV) probably would count suffiently much as spoilers, so I'd rather toss them in the otherwise Act 3 pool rather than split things between Act 1 and Act 2…


Well, yes, better than than have 11469 separate pools with just four or eight or twelve pics each. Having separate pools for different groups might be an option but some series cover just about everyone (like Playbunny's avatar series) (well that might be best left in its own pool anyway).

Obviously this would not be for "series" such as AU art though.

I'm fine with making it a tag. The only problem would be the phrase is typically ot3 but sometimes you get ot4s or ot5s but splitting those up into their own tags would make for more smaller tags which Iunno how everyone else would feel for that.

We could forgo all that and maybe just use a "multishipping" tag or something though.

Let's not forget that the "ot" supposedly stands for "one true"? Using "ot3" as a generic term for threesome relationships never made sense to me.

It's just a pun really. If "three" didn't rhyme with "P", it almost certainly wouldn't have taken hold in the first place.

The only tag I could see working is "polyamory" I guess.
