If Angel summoning is in Jake's actual power repertoire and not just a side-effect of his being power-leveled, then he could easily be on par with her. But Jade's abilities are generally more varied thanks to the unusual circumstances, and tied to one of the two most fundamental aspects of the entire universe, so we'll see.

e: Oh, and more importantly, we finally get a closer look at what Angels actually look like. My theory about them being crocodile-headed doesn't look too far off, but I like how the teeth are shaped more like a human's. It's like a fusion of reptile and human physiology, and I just love that. :}

I wonder if there's any hope of Jake coming out of this without being lobotomized/mind-controlled/some other plot device that stops him from having normal conversations with the rest of the cast.

Personally, I'm halfheartedly hoping he goes into a Grimdark/Grimbark/"Going off the deep end into dark throes" state, mostly because it looks like he's on the way in this panel: http://mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=008484 .

With all the Evangelion-esque power displayed in these updates, I'll be completely disappointed if this doesn't happen. So much the better if this "Angelic Form" is somehow missing a wing.
