I've never really understood the trend of drawing everyone with their starter outfits except for Dave.

I think a lot of people are really fond of the red long-sleeves tee in both the comic, in cosplay, and from a merchandising stand point, or many people forgot his starter shirt is different.

Even hussie seems to forget that the long-sleeved shirt wasn't Dave's original shirt sometimes, if his description of his own "everyone is in starter outfits except dave" picture is any indication:

^ Huh. Not only that, he gave Jade's shirt a similar style.

...I think it happens so often because the long-sleeve one is basically a cooler version of the original, whereas what everyone else was wearing at the same time (relatively speaking when we're talking about Dave, of course) was always markedly different.
