medieval au where dave is a knight sent to kill a witch that’s been ‘terrorizing’ a village and meets a nice girl in town while trying to dig up some information about where the witch lives then later tracks down the witch and defeats her but it turns out to be that nice girl in town and then he has second thoughts and figures out not all witches are evil and decides he’s going to protect her from the other knights
