Yeah. This remake sprite set is pretty nice. It helps that the redone hairstyles closely resembles the original sprites.

This is great; all the added details and expressions reflect their characterization:
John's half-smirk means thinks you're great and hopes you're not too mad about being the victim of that totally hilarious prank he just played.
Dave's mildly cocked eyebrow means he thought it over and decided you're cool enough to be worth his time.
Rose's subtly-bent eyebrow means she just threw down a verbal gauntlet and is waiting for you to try to prove you're not as stupid as she made you look.
Jade is just happy to see you and wants to show you her garden and her awesome dog.
