Ehh, Sollux and Feferi had a feelings jam on the horn pile, and then Erisolsprite later confirmed that Sollux and Feferi were matesprits on page 007646. I don't think feelings jams on piles were a moirail exclusive thing.

Not to mention that the thing VIBRATES. Vibrating things require a surprising amount of force to hold onto for prolonged periods of time.
