^ Well, canon Condesce looks svelte. And although illustrators have a tradition of using thinness as a symbol for villainy, this might be the one case it's justified. You can't trust a skinny cook! If the Batterwitch has access to ALL THE CAKE and yet doesn't eat enough of it to get at least curvy, there's clearly something wrong with her products!

I guess it's possible she does eat all the cake and then burns off calories by swimming a few (vertical) miles in the ocean; she's still Meenah... But whether it's right or wrong I would find myself more willing to pledge allegiance to the sensuous Batterwitch here^; there's less doubt that she likes food as much as I do.
