I truly believe Equius might have stood a chance of making it out of there alive if he wasn't so obsessed with having Gamzee dominate him. Oh well.

It's pretty much canon, I think Hussie confirmed that Equius could have snapped the bowstring with his neck muscles alone. Now I'm dreaming of an AU where Equius thrashed Gamzee.

Now I'm wondering what would Homestuck be like if Equius managed to kill Gamzee meaning Equius and Nepeta would have survived through the 3-year meteor trip.

Yeah, Equius pretty much refused to be as cool as we wanted him to be. Punching things hard enough to produce shockwaves is something he can do anytime, so i wonder what could have happened if he and not Eridan or Gamzee had been the one to utterly wreck everything.

^It may (or may not) have been more devastating, but it certainly wouldn't have been quite as terrifying. At least if he replaced Gamzee, anyway.

Unfortunately it is also canon that clowns can't die, so I think this probably would've ended in a stalemate regardless. I do sort of wonder just what kind of havoc he could have wreaked with realized Void powers and his impossible strength though.

^^^ Depends on if the other prototypings were still in effect. Because if they were, then he wouldn't survive the Glub attack without the Aradiabots. And even so, I don't think he could have defeated the BK on his own.
