They aren't going after their patron trolls, that makes no sense to do that in an au completely separate from canon. I don't remember why Usopp's are the shape they are but for example, Sanji's are curly like his eyebrows.

(It's late but yeah you're right, the horns are part of the mask which makes sense with the whole alternate identity and stuff)
