I'm not sure what to think of fanart that has Calliope/Callie being depicted as having sizable breasts. I always thought of even her trollsona to be very androgynous.

Well, you don't really see the tits on even the hero mode characters all too often either, but they do have them.
tl;dr, their tits are abstracted for sake of convenience.

^^Anon, I'm not basing my thoughts on any hero mode depiction, but on the possibility that the Cals were inspired by Calmasis or the Calmasis story inspired the cherubs being where Calmasis was androgynous. That and the cherubs themselves don't seem to have much sexual dimorphism when they are young seeing that the share a body.
