Yeah. It's a little sad that people forget that WV's kinda badass after all the things he's done. Yeah, he's pretty goofy a lot of the time, but then so is John. I mean, this is the guy that united the armies of Light and Darkness and led them against the Black King. Sure, Jack beat him to it, but...


I guess he's just overshadowed by all the characters with literal superpowers. I think the best he can hope for at this point in the narrative is a heroic sacrifice.

For me, WV is the heart and soul of the whole comic. He's the most heroic character BECAUSE he has neither brains nor brawn.

I'm just gonna point out that in the actual update, WV goes from the very back of the meteor to the front the minute Jade shows up.
The conclusion that can be reached? He was trying to protect everyone from Jade.
