So did Gamzee have some reason for killing Equius? Other than being crazy, I mean. At this point it just seems so weird to have him seemingly go total nutjob serial killer, only to stop after just these two.

He might have gone after Equius first because of the whole "equius told him every single day that he was a shitty excuse for a highblood"

But he still probably would have killed them all if he hadn't been calmed down. I mean there was a doomed offshoot where he killed everyone.
