I don't always say this, but I'll say it now: One of the things that annoys me about Homestuck is how carelessly Hussie disposes of his characters. I mean we barely hear from Aradia at all until after her climactic battle with Jack in the Act 6 intermission, but she doesn't really appear to contribute to the story in any way. The least she could have done is used her time majyyks to reverse the actions and consequences of the 10/25 flash. Then we wouldn't have to go through the current tedium of John meeting his denizen and Roxy.

Don't get me wrong, I admired how Act 5 Act 2's climax was Terezi and Vriska confronting each other, although the change of perspective to Gamzee was a bit confusing. Equius and Nepeta got great character development as well. I guess with such an expansive cast, minor characters are excluded frequently. Of course given that the first four acts concentrated mainly on the kids, a change in direction can be refreshing for a bit I guess.
