Now that democracy has failed, anarchy has a chance to shine!

You know that it is almost impossible to get unanimous answer out of this.

We see the situation laid out if each of them chooses differently. This gets no one anywhere.

If one of them chooses differently and all other three choose the same, there is a conflict whether the person who chose differently should still be included. The person who chose differenly will feel left out and downcast unless the consensus is particularly chipper.

If two of them choose one and the other two also choose one, there has to be a recount. And if all of them are resolute in their opinion, a third party is an option. Who the third party is, heavily depends of course.

Only if they're all of the same opinion who should be leader, the entire thing can go off without problems, unless the elected DOESN'T WANT to be leader. Then we get into entirely different territory.

If we had more people, and this was a general election, we could do this differently. See here: http://ncase.me/ballot/
