I've got this really bad feeling that John's going to have to permanently die to save everyone at the end, and Roxy's going to have to give him a funeral.

I want these two to be happy, but it keeps nagging at me.

^Well, Doc Scratch did hint that John will die eventually, and that he would most likely die Heroically.

Then again, if we revive everyone, then we'll have Jane and the Ring of Life back in play, so maybe John won't have to stay dead? (idk man I just want Roxy and John to be happy.)

But wait, was the Heroic death he spoke of the meta!john who's skirting the canon's line, or the actually dead retcon!john (as Jade described it to Calliope, when LOWAS exploded with him and davesprite on it)?

Seems like it is leading up to the meta!John becoming the John that dies on LOWAS if you ask me. I could of course be wrong, since Hussie does what Hussie wants, and lord knows what is going on in his mind.

Guess we'll see in february or something when the intermission is over.

^^nah, nah. remember all that talk about the denizen and how if a player makes a choice in one reality and survives, he kills another one as a concequence of that choice?

remember the dead Calliope (the... other dead calliope) said retcon!John died precisely because of the other one's decidion?

Given that Jade said that Alt Calliope became extremely serious when continuing the story of the John we know, I can only presume that the described death is our John's. After all, Jade said that our John was poised to play a far more prominent role than the one who died via LOWAS's destruction did.

And Roxy might end up taking it as another part of her "curse" if/when it happens.
