I'm wondering, since the events of the last updates, would it be fact that Vriska and co. found the juju AFTER it was used by Caliborn (Pre-LE)? If so, I'm actually wondering if John's retcon abilities are an amalgam of each of the beta kids' aspects (space-time traversing and, with proper training thanks in part to another seer, pinpoint accuracy to appear at the right moment for the best results)? Basically, john's new power was gained from absorbing the trapped versions of himself and his friends.

^Yes, the version of the house juju John and the ghost pirate crew found IS the one used previously by Caliborn, because Vriska stated that it was "intangible" and they would probably need Aradia to use her telekinetic abilities to move it in order to actually use it as a weapon.

"Hi I'm John, I'm 15-16-ish and I traveled with my ectobiological space sister on a giant ship through a void full of green with a ghost cat and a bird version of my friend and also I was in a universe ruled by a green alien from saw for awhile but then I beat him up and now I have the powers of teleporting anywhere thanks to a gray-skinned not-so-blind horn-having color-licking female and also thanks to the souls of my and some of my friends in a white ghost intangible house-symbol thing."

Actually I feel like going into detail about explaining ANY moment in Homestuck to a normal person will have them think you're weird.
