IIRC, a "fujoshi" is a japanese term that refers to a japanese anime/manga female otaku, often described as "yaoi obsessed, shipping-proned, merchandise-collecting, aspiring manga artist (focusing on yaoi in general)"

In Western places, they are lumped alongside weeaboos and rarely do you hear of non-japanese girls refer to themselves as "fujoshi", opting for either the general "weeaboo" or the even more general "otaku" terms.

Also, the big difference between the two is that most "fujoshi" are still overall in great health while most western female "otaku" are not so much (like Deviant-chan up here is).
