This whole debate is stupid, imo.
All four of the characters involved have been delegated to nothing more than background/filler characters as of late.
Even the most arguably "important" character, Aradia, does nothing more than stand around in the background and make the same face over and over. She hasn't done anything important since the start of act 6 and likely won't be relevant again except for MAYBE during the epilogue, if it'll be anything like the PS one was.
Sollux, Eridan and Equius definitely won't be doing anything important, either, though one COULD argue that Equius has the highest chance of being relevant again, being part of ARquius.

Basically what I'm saying is the people who keep downvoting Erisol/Eqara stuff just because it's not arasol are stupid and immature and really need a better hobby.
