Why Rose should wear a suit? I know fanfic and fanart love present her like "the male" but she always was so feminine and ladylike as Kanaya.

Yes, Rose who goes out of her way to RP male characters, gets on John's case for giving her a knitting set because it's too girly, and don't want people to know she likes ponies because it's also too girly. Rose really likes to present herself using masculine cues.

She don't want people to know she likes ponies because it's "childish" and she want to be treated like an adult and the comic where RP as a male character it's not canon.

Rose has a serious character and some of her personality traits normally would be attached with male characters but I wouldn't say "she likes to present herself using masculine cues".
