I could support "zigzag" if it's in reference to the fact that both Dave's broken record symbol and the Aquarius symbol have zigzag patterns. It's not ha-ha clever, but I really appreciate any Eridan ship name that only works for Eridan (okay, also Cronus) and not Feferi (or Meenah).

I also like "depth_record" but names referring to deeper areas of the ocean sound more Feferi-ish to me. In fact, what about "deep_cuts" for the also unnamed Dave/Feferi?

Agreed re "depth". also yeah "cuts" works double for Dave — as a Swordkind reference, but also for sick tunes 8)

I could get behind zigzag for an Eridan/Dave ship, and depth_record for Dave/Feferi. Both roll well on the tongue and are clever enough.

I thought of a few others at work:
record_scratches despite possible confusion with The Scratch
wavemakers refers to both tearing up the sea and blasting sick beats
coast_guard_cutter might be my favorite just because it sounds cool (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Coast_Guard_Cutter)

Anyway I know one shouldn't gunk up the comments section with such ideas, so I will say: somehow I think Eridan would be the one holding the umbrella (to protect his hair and sensitive skin) while Dave would be calmly getting soaked (because he's too cool to care about a little rain).
