I like that their schoolteacher is an anime woman for no apparent reason. She jumped straight out of a slice-of-life school series into the wrong damn comic. And never realized her mistake until...it was TOO LATE.

So teacher objects to Bro, but not the fact that Jade was raised by a dog? I get her lack of reaction to Dad ('cause he's pretty normal) and Rose's eldritch abominations ('cause she assumed they were just Rose's imagination) and I understand her flipping out on Bro, but the fact that Jade was RAISED BY A DOG should probably cause some concern.

On an unrelated note, Bro's reaction at the end is priceless!

I think the objection is not that he's not the mother or father, but that Bro accosts Dave with colorful dicks (depicted in his drawing), and his description suggests actual rape might also be involved.

(With Jade the assumption can simply be that she went slightly off prompt with her drawing, which is not unexpected for a small child to do.)
