^ Karkat will use Red Miles to force Jade to be the Maid of Honor when he finally accepts his own proposal and hatemarries himself. And that's how they'll save her from the Condesce.

^ I know, but I only meant grimbark Jade, to snap her out of it.
Though I've also been thinking about the Red Miles... they're clearly blood-themed and have so far been used as a weapon by guys who behave sort of like blood heroes. But maybe they don't have to be deudly red shit that destroys. Maybe they could nurture or sustain or even heal like a circulatory system does. And in the hands of Karkat I hope they could function as some sort of ultimate cosmic shoosh-pap. The sort that can make anything calm the fuck down.
