Why is this so beautiful?

The contrast of Calliope's serenity to Caliborn's anguish as the triumph of good over evil is very cathartic (I think that's the word I'm looking for).

As far as fine art goes, I'm still hoping for someone to reference Herodias with the Head of John the Baptist. Very sinister.

I was just thinking about this earlier today. Still my favorite art of the cherubim.

Obviously based on Archangel Michael, the most asskicking Archangel. In case you don't know, this is how he works:

1: Knock some dude over.
2: Step on his face/neck.
3: Carve him up.
4: Repeat.
