Yeah he was told about it and dealt with it.

I actually think there was a grassroots fan effort to either get Eridan off Gaia (kid doesn't deserve that), or make sure Hussie got compensation, but Hussie wanted it off so. He made it happen.

This was Halloween 2011 iirc so it was a while ago but I do think it made him hyperaware of people using his stuff for profit.

Actually, if I recall correctly, the grassroots effort was to remove /items that Gaia actually sold/ or at least force them to speak with Hussie about it.

Because, see, I would be okay with them parodying HS with Eridan and candy corn horns back in the day when they ran off of ads and donations. But now Gaia is a business that makes a whole lot of money selling shit, and actually /selling/ something that is not theirs (the kids symbols) is really, really fucked up.

Which kind of makes me bitter about them even parodying HS now because they're money hungry assholes!
