I'm convinced one of Hussie's ex girlfriends was an Aquarius and dumped him viciously leaving him to take out his pain on her patron trolls.

What if we arbitrarily assigned a character who isn't a complete tool and awful person to act as Honorary Likable Aquarius Troll. Like, one of the kids or carapaces or something.

Well some people find Eridan likable.
and a lot more people find him likable after Cronus.

Yeah, Eridan has always been endearing (especially his typing quirk), entertaining, and funny to me. Cronus has none of that going for him, he's just kind of gross.

I find his backstory rather interesting
(forgive me for saying anything relatively positive about Cronus)
but seeing as Hussie clearly hates him, I've no real hope of that backstory being fleshed out any.

Well, let's see what happens as time goes on… I find Eridan according to the fandom a lot more interesting and likable than he was in canon. I have this feeling we won't be seeing too much of all the dancestors in the future and that leaves a lot of room for fanon to pile up.

The only thing keeping me from hating fanon Eri is HSG.

Seahorsedad's characterization and Shrek dad are the my favorite fandom creations for Eridan.
