Why is this tagged with "feudal_japan" when Dynastystuck isn't Japanese? It's set in the Tang Dynasty in China.

Because Westerners think that all Asians look the same and have the same culture.

Hold on, the other Dynastystuck pictures are tagged too.
Can someone please edit this?

Yes this is the problem with the feudal Japan tag, it's country specific. Dynastystuck fits the aesthetic the tag was made for, but the specification to Japan in particular creates complications. We'll have to come up with something better in our tag discussion and I urge people to the general tag thread with thoughts, thanks.

Does anons have any issue with a "far_east" tag. You all raised some valid issues, I'm eager to hear what you have to say.

Yeah, I'm not too fond of using "far_east" as a tag.

"oriental"

If it's good enough for the ramen, it's good enough for me. :v

Ehh, "oriental" is really no different than "far_east". It's a very broad term that really generalizes so many different cultures, just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
