I'm actually really hoping Jane moves beyond romantic triangles as a character with these next conversations, maybe having a talk with Jake that has nothing to do with romance. I think this is her time to really shine as the Alpha friend leader and rally her troops which are at least 50% a mess at this moment. Come on Janey, you da best. Let's do this.

well to be fair, Jake is the one who keeps bringing up the topic of romance. And Jane has made it pretty clear she wants nothing to do with this love triangle bullshit anymore.

Jake's problem isn't just that he's dumb, but that he trusts his friends too much and believes everything they say. He thinks that if Jane claimed she wasn't in love with him, then by golly it must be true, so the only other person she could be crushing on is Strider.

Jane hasn't made it clear at all. I mean yeah to the average individual who gets social cues sure, but she hasn't told him anything pertaining to why she's upset to his face. Like MS said, he's being oblivious but he's not meaning to ignore her.
