I could see LE looking like that big four legged robot monster at the end of Virus. Can't find a good pic of it to post for reference though. That movie may have kinda sucked, but the creature design was excellent.

if i watched that movie i don't remember it unfortunately

it seems to be in of the space horror genre which is one i find horribly underutilized despite event horizon and the alien series

It takes place on a boat, but it has the same kind of feel as space horror due to the confined areas and technology-based monsters that are basically robotic Necromorphs from Dead Space. Space horror is the best horror genre along with body horror, especially if practical effects are utilized.
