Yeah this is literally my worst HS nightmare.

As much as I love seeing Dad again, unless Hussie has something up his sleeve John is still an orphan and Dad Crocker has no idea who he is.

Which I suppose would be fitting, seeing as there seems to be a running theme of crockerberts having the least insight as to what the fuck is going on at any given time.

See: Nanna being the only ectoparent who wasn't preparing for Sburb prior to her death, Poppop being the only post-scratch guardian not involved with fighting the batterwitch, Dad's apparent confusion upon entering the medium in the B1 session, everyone witholding information from John in act 5, everyone withholding information from Jane for most of act 6...

You have to think that confusion would wear off fast though once dad realized John had no idea what he's talking about not having any memories of anything to do with Poppop himself.

Crockerdad would probably adapt fairly quickly, too. I mean, his grandmother is the Batterwitch, after all. And of course he's taken the Derse fashion world by storm already.

... Now I'm wondering whether )(IC isn't just bitter she didn't think to revolutionize Dersite fashion before Crockerdad did in the latest page. Surely she could have decreed that her subjects need appropriate amounts of bling?

I know that, but I call them both Dadbert. They're the same character.

What I meant was, this Dadbert would probably believe something about another universe and a different life in that world.
