I know people like their shipping drama, but I think Roxy diving into alcohol is a much bigger deal here. Roxy already made it abundantly clear she's got a crush on Dirk, and also already knew Dirk is gay. None of those 'confessions' was a surprise to anyone.

On the other hand, Roxy is an alcoholic, and was doing an amazingly good job cold turkey, seemingly even without any real support from her friends. I can imagine getting back on the wagon after this would be difficult (unless Hussie just wants to continue playing her alcoholism as a joke).
