It seems depressing that even magical candy drugs couldn't bring Dirk out of his funk. He probably needs a therapist...a tentacle therapist, perhaps.

Actually, this might be a good thing out of a bad situation, SOMEONE has to stop this madness, the sprites are going to be beating each other to death soon, Caliborn is being completely ignored and LE is tearing time-space a new pair of butt-cheeks. Sure, him being depressed might not be healthy long run but I'm going to guess that acting like this was your first crack hit isn't good either.

That and the fact that Dirk now has access to Trickster powers with none of the insane downsides.
