You are the small, nearly-forgotten PROBLEM SLEUTH FANDOM.

And you are SO PROUD of your LITTLE BROTHER. Look at him making all these friends…

Look how far you’ve come, HOMESTUCK FANDOM.

I am so, so proud of you.

You know, I like these things and this is a cute pic, but I really do get sick of the idea of PS and HS as separate fandoms, even if it's partially true. I am not a Problem Sleuth or Homestuck fan, I'm an MS Paint Adventures fan. Frankly, I would never be here if that weren't the case.

To be honest that's exactly how I feel about the Intermission, which in itself almost feels like a completely different adventure. To be an Intermission fan, you almost have to completely ignore the rest of HS, inversely if you care about trolls and kids as a fan you almost never give any attention to the felt or intermission MC.

I personally have never seen an individual who gives their attention to the two as a whole. It's like an unspoken rule you have to be one or the other which is pretty sad.

I don't know, trainedbrofessional gives quite a bit of attention to the other parts of the comics.

It's definitely possible to love the Intermission and the rest of the comic. Probably best that way, too, since they're actually important to each other if you have any interest in trying to "solve" HS.

Alright that's one guy then.

It's definitely possible, I know that much because I manage to do it. But there's a very distinct line drawn between the two and while I get it on a certain level it's still rather depressing.

There's the whole "I skipped the intermission" joke yeah but you don't see random felt in a "Homestuck" fan's art tag usually, nor do you see any trolls in a Felt artist's tag, fairly rare exceptions excluded.

As for PS I will say the slight superiority complex some people get over having started with it or read it first or whatever can be a bit off putting. It was for me anyways. Which is a shame because it is fantastic and I am quite glad to have read it when I did.

There's definitely a significant tone shift between the Intermission and the rest of HS, which sort of explains the segregation, but I do agree that there needs to be more intermingling between the two.

maybe the comic will start leading by example

It's still part of HS... like it's literally part. of. Homestuck let alone MSPA.

Come together people, come together.

Someone made a somewhat sad comic that went with this, but I didn't feel like posting it.
