Dave got Karkat a password journal as a totally ironic gift, thinking he wouldn't like it. Karkat actually loves it and writes down all his personal stuff and some stuff about Dave too. Whenever Karkat isn't around Dave tried to get into it but he can't because of the voice-activated lock.
