OFF is a French indie RPG by Mortis Ghost. I'm not very far in it, but it's pretty surreal.

can't really give you a summary since it's one of those games where discovering what's going on is kind of a big part of it

neglected part of the Homestuck fandom going into new fandoms, much like ex-HS fans and current HS fandoms right now, and that OFF seems to be the "cool new kid" that's just getting steam and becoming popular.

tl;dr Hussie, fearing losing his fanbase, decides to reintroduce old faces to get them back from other fandoms, at least going by the interpretation of the pic above

The weird part is that I don't think anyone would give a good goddamn about Off if it weren't for Homestuck fans latching onto it and Tumblr popularizing it.

I mean, I believe the game was created in 2007, but it's only in early 2013 that suddenly an "Off fandom" sprouts up...

The original translation came out over a year ago I think from post dates, though the recent translation patch came out a few months ago. Three it looks like? But yeah it's fairly recent in English fandoms. Not sure how the French internet users reacted to it.
