IDK about you but I really prefer the originals. These ones just look really... off, and it's not just the blood-skin-color-tint thing.

It's probably mostly the concept of high definition / detailed sprite modes which goes 100% against what we know and have been visually trained to know as readers of Hussie's.

That and the hair is less angular, which gives the characters a "prettier" look. Nonetheless bushy tail Nepeta earns my seal of approval.

Tav's hair is very luxurious looking, though I never personally considered Sollux's hair that long myself.

Yeah Sollux's is weird. He honestly feels more like a sideburns guy to me - Aradia's hair is pretty weird to, it just looks way too "poofy." Also, her face looks really off and her shirt's kinda off too, I think it's how the buttons go through the middle of her shirt symbol. And I don't recall Eridan ever wearing a constant scowl, or Feferi having lipstick, or Terezi not laughing with the intensity of a million hyenas. And Equius looks way too blue and Karkat too pale; plus Gamzee's hair isn't messy enough... some of the colors are more darker or saturated, which doesn't look too good either. Bleh I just don't really like these at all do I?

I do approve of Karkat, Nepeta and Kanaya's hair though.

I like them. It's nice to have a different style applied to the sprites. Sure, they're not strictly an improvement on the canon ones with regard to interpretation, but, they wouldn't be because those ones ARE the canon ones, and these are fan ones. So yeah. I like seeing this interpretation. It's well done, interesting, and consistent in style in a nice way.

Last time someone made these I remember people flipping 20 different kinds of hell, it was ridiculous. These are pretty 0kay, in my opinion. Some things are a bit iffy to me (like Vris' lack of sunken in eyes and Kan's eyeshadow looks a little goofy to me) but I can see why people would like 'em.

I really appreciate the effort that went into these and some of them look very much the better for it, usually the ones with less of an excess of hair to begin with (Tavros, Karkat, Nepeta, Equius, and Eridan all look solid). I just can't deal with Sollux's J-rocker mop, it's totally unrecognizable. Admittedly in-comic he has probably the dumbest haircut in real-world terms so I can understand the difficulty but seriously, Sollux should be able to go outside without getting barraged by the panties of a thousand screaming Japanese girls.

Also, Kanaya . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
