Hi, I'm Tropy. I study maths by day and linguistics by night (in theory anyway). I'm a smartass, an intellectual, an aspie, Finnish, closer to 30 than 25, arguably a loner, arguably queer, and arguably easily distracted. I don't think my gender is particularly relevant here and I don't care too much what pronouns you use of me (as long as we agree "it" is not a personal pronoun).

I read approx. all of the webcomics (allllllll of them!), and have an extensiv collection of various shades of ambient and electronic music, with basically no time left over for keeping up with other facets of popular culture.

I like movies and anime; I should read more. Also play lol fairly regularly, not many other video games apart from old stuff to nostalgia trip on. I like a big ol' mish-mash of music, including ICP - no juggalo. So far I've addicted one friend to Homestuck and tried a piss-poor Karkat cosplay (that grey paint takes practice apparently).
I de-lurked on skaia like a week before the announcement that it was going down, although I browsed for a bit beforehand; now I'm here to talk with some fine people about the Homestucks.
