I'm happy another part of the mixed dead trollsprites theory has come to pass and that Eridan and Sollux didn't blow themselves up on creation.

Now I'm curious about the remaining two. Is there a chance that my *other* patron Pisces troll will have some relevance in the story again? Will she be mixed with something or someone horrifying? Did Sawtooth and/or Squarewave jump into one? Will Dirk be able to give his autoresponder a body?

Edit: so on sprites for Dirk and Roxy? Assuming it's all due to Gamzee getting his torso flail on, we have Equius, Nepeta and Feferi left, one body short of two meld-sprites. Would a Halsprite be overkill, given the amount of Striders we have in the story? (I'm also reminded that we've yet to see anyone prototype a Lalonde, but that sounds pretty improbable.)

I'm predict the other sprite will be a Nepeferi(catfish sprite) one and a Dirquius(Dirk's head+Equius' corspe) one.

Huh, didn't even think about Dirk's severed head. I reeeeally like this idea, but I'll be pretty miffed if AR doesn't get to be a sprite. It's been foreshadowed so much that not happening would feel sort of like a copout.

Oh shit, I completely forgot about that! If the shades and Dirk's head are both prototyped with Equius, AR will at least sort of have his own Dirk body. Also, since the trolls that made up the combosprites so far have had opposing color schemes (navy-rust brown, yellow-purple), Equius and Dirks blue-orange scheme works perfectly. Feferi's magenta and Nepeta's forest green isn't an exact match, but it's close enough.

... Wow, I rambled way too much about colors there, oops.

Update. Hmm I think there may be some stuff going on with the dirk+jake relationship. As in out of the honeymoon period.

Dirk seemed so much more lively and Jake just seems kind of... sad. Which is making me kind of sad for some reason (silly feels, stop doing that). I'm sensing a lot of Vriska/Tavros and Rufioh/Horrus overlap here.

I wonder if Erisolsprite/Solidansprite/whatever is going to give Jake relationship advice. That would be kind of hilarious.
