I can already see this agreement having lasting effects into the endgame. Well, more specifically, I can see Caliborn's influence on Jake leading to him becoming more distant from Jane and Roxy than he already was, and distancing the Alphas from each other altogether. ALthough Caliborn has a good point about Jake not taking any initiative on his quest, so at least some good might come out of this union.
