Also, does Roxy have any flight practice? She may have been sleepwalking thru her whole Derse life…

What's with Supercroc over there, though?

I think it's supposed to be a normal version of whatever Underling is on this page: http://mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=004427 .It's nice to see a normal variety for once, and that they're always so massive.

But what confuses me here is why these Underlings are colored the way they are. Dirk's skeletons were maroon (the Heart colors) and Jake's were a mustard-yellow (the Hope colors), but these guys are indigo, which would be the Void colors instead of the Life colors they should be. My only guess is that Underlings are just travelling across Planets, but it's still a really weird detail.

I'm trying to imagine how this Jane/Caliborn conversation will go and all my attempts are failing.

Anyways, maybe dreamselves can only fly when they're being used as a dreamself and not as an extra life? Too fan-wank-y?

Also, why would HIC choose to abduct Roxy now if she controlled GCat at all times? Seems like an odd detail, but maybe there's some sort of reasoning behind it.

GCat is big on preserving stable timelines, such as ensuring the creation of Jaspersprite, so maybe it had to wait until this moment when Jane ran off because she needs to do some important things, like have this conversation with Caliborn?

Well, if you look back at the Beta session, it's not that odd. John's were black, Rose's were marbled, and Dave's were Sulfur.

also i am very glad to see uu has not cut his ties to the alpha session

I think he did cut his ties, this is just a conversation from his past.

That's possible, but why is Jane having it at this point in her timeline?

He couldn't see to this point in his past. It seems like a random time to contact her if he can't even see what's there.

i just want more uu pesterlogs

I place bigger than zero odds on it actually being Gamzee.

Yeah, tropy's theory seems the most plausible.

Not the materials they're constructed out of. The skeleton underneath. The skeleton Underlings don't drop any Grist, remember? The ones we're seeing on LOCAH are an anomaly because they're Void-colored, but on a Life Hero's Planet.

It's a little thing really, but it just doesn't feel right to me. I suppose things would be clearer if, again, we knew that Underlings were travelling from planet to planet, or if we see any Life-colored Underlings on LOPAN.

The skeletons do drop grist, just not much, especially for how hard they are to kill.

Wow Caliborn.

Wow.

Also Hussie threw in a generic lesbian underwear pillow fight for the Cottoncandy shippers. He does care.

Caliborn is going through cherub puberty right? That's what's going on right now, isn't it? This update has left me pretty darn speechless.

I think he was legitimately trying to be nice to the best of his abilities. I wonder if he learned about human females on the internet what with the juicy wobbly bits and mud rolling in their underwear >_>

Also I just noticed the giant skeleton serpent in the background of that first panel. Looks like the "supercroc" skeleton was a completely different Underling variety altogether.

e:Maybe. The supercroc one trails off of the right side of the panel, so they could be the same.
