You can't deny Gamzee is either directly or indirectly doing some rather helpful things in the middle of all his hail satan shenanigans.
Without him Calliope would never have access to a computer, or means to contact people like Roxy. He also treated her with a lot of apparent tenderness which is surprising as she is essentially Lord English's first adversary.

You also can't deny that Gamzee is tangentially, if not directly, responsible for getting the cherubs access to SBURB, thus causing literally everything bad that has ever happened in Homestuck. I'm not saying that he hasn't had any positive impact on anything, just don't forget he's the most important character in Homestuck for a reason.

I'm honestly not here to argue how important a role for good or ill Gamzee has played in Homestuck, I'm just sayin' I'd like him to die forever.
