In hindsight... Kanaya has odd tastes in women. And odd attraction to light players.

Eh Rose was only really destructive for a period of time. If Kanaya was only attracted to her grimdarkness I'd believe in that statement a little more.
Dangerous women seems to be a better word as they both definitely have the potential to be dangerous but I wouldn't call Rose a destructive individual overall.
(The more obvious connection it the "moth drawn to the Light" joke. Kind of ties in with Vriska liking Breath heroes with Oxygen being the 8th element on the periodic table)

You forgot that she's currently an alcoholic and her condition is affecting Kanaya and Dave.

I suppose that's true but I still don't feel right lumping her and Vriska in the same degree of destructiveness.

Or she's attracted to Light players because she's a source of light herself.
Or she just wants someone to light up her night.
