So, ya know, its like theres an army of artists out there just staring at their computers, tablets in hand, waiting for an update so they can start drawing, and then an equally if not greater army of people sitting at their computer looking at updates for the artists waiting for them to finish so they can upload here.

On a VERY related note, it would be cool to see homestuck redrawn (and animated with help from people experienced int hat sorta thing) with some fo these more realistic and often BADASS art styles.

nothing wrong with the current art style of course, often adorable, just seen alot of people get turned off the current style thinking it looks "childish", figure an alternative art style could get them to at least read it and enjoy it. (heck, if i can buy a tablet and get around to practicing my drawing, which ive neglected for 6 years, i might just redraw homestuck myself)

Redraw ALL of homestuck? That would be quite the undertaking. And probably not a wholly welcomed one by Hussie.

You know... I'm tempted to wonder if you could piece together a near-functional Homestuck with all of the panel redraws people have already created.

@Beelzebibble why wouldnt he? wouldnt be anything he would need to have a hand in, wouldnt be any different than all the panel redraws there already are, only difference would be there would be upwards of 8000 of them and they would have page numbers. i was saying that I myself would just redraw them if i had to.

I don't know. A lot of the early humor depends on the simple art style. I think that more detailed art would run contrary to the atmosphere of Homestuck in many cases.

Maybe, but i unfortuneately live in a town of no-funsies boring mcseriouspants, so if i was going to redraw hoemstuck, it would be maybe modified a LITTLE, to at least try and bring the story to the more serious stick-in-the-pants people.

like seriously, i would be willing to redraw and in partially rewrite homestuck in a manner people i know would tolerate, ebcause rigth now i am LITERALLY (like, ive checked) the ONLY person in my CITY who has read past page 5 of homestuck, and no one has even heard of problem sleuth.
